Easter Part Two

FLannery's First Easter

The Easter Bunny..or The Jesus Bunny as we have been calling it.

I love to kiss these sweet cheeks.

Flannery is such a happy baby, and loves to laugh. She is always smiling! The picture where she is wearing red was such a funny day. She was holding on to the bar stool, and she stood there and laughed forever!! When she wanted to move she realized that she was sorta "trapped" and didn't like it at all. She had to have a little help. She normally just drops to her bottom, but she didn't this time. She was trying to climb over the bars, but they were too high for her little self.

9 months old.

This was taken the day she turned nine months old. Nikki came over to do my hair, and while it was processing we took her out to play in the grass. It was her first time! It was such a beautiful day. She was so cute! She felt it, and of course tried to put it in her mouth! Since then we have taken her several times, and she even rolled down the yard a bit once. She was trying to crawl, and since there is a small incline rolling ensued!

They love each other so much!

They always have a great time together. I have posted other pictures like this, but this one had to be shown to the world. I really like Flannery's outfit in this photo too!

Laughing at Ella

A couple of weeks ago Flannery and I went to visit Baby Asher and Jen. We had a lovely time! When we got there Flannery immediately noticed Ella out on the patio and went straight to the window. She laughed so much at her that I had to capture it on video. Hope you enjoy!

I really enjoy standing up anywhere I get the chance...

Flannery really likes to stand up now. She has so much fun exploring and checking things out. She LOVES to get in the fridge and feel the cold items. She is also figuring out how to open cabinets. Time to get the baby-proofing items!! I held her arms yesterday as she walked a few steps and she thought she was really doing something special. It was so cute!

She will be having her 9 month well-baby visit next week. I can't believe she will be 9 months old this coming Saturday! She has 8 teeth, and loves to eat new foods. She will not eat baby food though. She does not like it. She'd rather have what we are eating!!

Video time!!

Flannery loves to look out the window. The same window that Rocket has always looked out. It's so cute to see them together. She loves to explore! Now that she is pulling up, she will try any place that she can hold to.

Flannery's first trip to the Emergency Room.

Yes, we had a bit of a scare this morning. Flannery was in the bed with us this morning and woke up and crawled right off the bed. We woke to the sound a thud, and then a cry. We picked her up and all three of us proceeded to cry. She stopped within a couple of minutes, and was her usual happy self. We decided to take her to the emergency room just to have her checked out. They looked her over, and said she was fine. We were going to leave and she wanted to nurse, so I fed her and then she spit up once and then threw up some milk a second time. She has had a cold, and we think the congestion and drainage made her actually spit/throw up but just to be safe they decided to take a skull x-ray. She did not enjoy that. I had to hold her down so they could get the needed x-rays. All was clear, so we were able to go home. I think it was more traumatic for us, than it was for Flannery. Jeremy took some shots of her sitting on the bed with her little baby hospital gown on. We are just thankful to God that she is okay, and not hurt. One of our dear friends came to the hospital to check on us, and we are so grateful to him. Thank you Mike! As you can see in the photos she was happy as can be, and chewing on her Minnie.

Snow day

So last week we had a snow day here it Charlotte, and of course we had to take Flannery outside to play. She was so cute and kept trying to eat it!! Rocket enjoyed being outside in it as well. He even has a coat to boot.

Seven Months Old!

Flannery is so active! She is crawling/scooting all over the place. She is getting into things she doesn't need to be into as well. It's time to baby proof the house!!! She has five teeth, and boy do I know it! She is waking up more often in the night now. I am hoping that subsides very soon. She loves taking a bath!!! Now that she sits up so well it is so fun with her in the water. She loves all of her bath toys and loves to splash water everywhere. She is such a joy, and it's amazing to see all the new things that she likes to do and try everyday. She is now eating Graduate Puffs, Cheerios and Baby Goldfish. She is so cute using her little fingers to pick things up and put food in her mouth. Oh and she adores Rocket!!! Anytime he comes near her, her little sweet face lights up with huge smile and a squeal.
